About Gripe

Gripe was created because AI enabled arbitration and dispute processing is going to be a thing. It’s already a thing- but before Gripe’s patent pending process, there were issues. Most AI “dispute resolution” today is just a chatbot giving an answer. That has big problems:

You don’t know how the answer was reached.

The AI may lean one way without checking the other side.

One pass of a model can carry hidden bias or error.

Gripe fixes this. Instead of one quick answer, Gripe runs the dispute through opposing passes — AI taking both sides. Each side gets equal time, equal evidence, and equal rules. The results are kept separate so they can’t leak into each other. Then a clear aggregation rule combines the outputs to give a balanced, explainable decision. The process is short, structured, and fair. You can see that both sides were argued and how the outcome was reached.

That means:

Fairness by design — both sides get a real hearing.

Transparency — you see the rules and the reasoning.

Trust — the result isn’t just “what the machine says,” it’s the product of a balanced process. Everyone benefits from access to efficient dispute resolution. Traditional arbitration can be expensive, time-consuming, intimidating, and subject to bias or disparity in resources between the parties. Gripe addresses the limitations of human arbitration in flexible ways so that parties can make the best of both human and AI resources to help make life safer, more fair, and less costly when trouble does arise.

We’re not replacing lawyers or courts – we’re making their skills and powers more effective and available by providing a facility that helps people understand their disputes, make informed decisions about how to proceed, and streamline the entire process of putting disputes to rest. Gripe does not serve as, or replace the skills and duties of lawyers.

Gripe does not advocate for any party; we are a platform and process independent of either side of a dispute. Our connected AI models run for and against both sides of a dispute. Gripe considers the interests of all parties to a dispute, while lawyers represent the interests of their client at all times.
